Through the LEAD Collaborative, Maryland Physicians Care worked to improve health equity issues by addressing food insecurity in the members they serve. The third largest Medicaid managed care organization in the state of Maryland focused on improving health outcomes by solving for access to healthy foods partnering with Goodwill and a local school for children with special needs to establish a hydroponic farm.
